Myrtle Beach a Top Trending Summer Spot for Vacation Rentals

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C., April 20, 2017 – Myrtle Beach is ranked as a top trending spot for summer vacation rentals. TripAdvisor Rentals broke down the trendiest spots for a summer 2017 vacation rental stay. They analyzed the overall vacation rental interest on TripAdvisor Rentals for 2017 so far, for a stay taking place in June, July or August of this year.

Myrtle Beach was one of the top trending destinations noting the sheer number of attractions, golf courses and 60 miles of beachfront. Top attractions and events noted for this summer included the newly expanded Broadway at the Beach, the area’s most iconic entertainment complex, and Carolina Country Music Festival which will bring artists like Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean to town in June.

"We're not surprised by this news," said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. "The Myrtle Beach area prides itself on being an affordable, world-class family beach destination with great accommodations year-round. Expanded attractions, events and new nonstop air service has certainly helped drive interest from new visitors and we’re excited to welcome them.”
