Eighth Annual “Shuckin’ on the Strand Oyster Roast” Presented by Wyndham Vacation Ownership Returns to Murrells Inlet


MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The eighth annual “Shuckin’ on the Strand Oyster Roast” returns again to the Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet.


Presented by Wyndham Vacation Ownership, and hosted by gsSCENE and the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, the oyster roast will take place Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 from 12 to 4 p.m. at the Hot Fish Club at 4911 U.S. 17 Business in Murrells Inlet.


Recognized as the Grand Strand’s largest oyster roast, this popular, sell-out event is open to the public and welcomes over 500 attendees each year to enjoy culinary delights including oysters and local food, as well as live, local entertainment.


Attendance is limited, and purchasing tickets in advance is recommended.  Adult tickets are at a discounted price of $25 per person today through Feb. 1, 2016 and include all-you-can-eat oysters, food and fixings, and two draft beers. Starting Feb. 2, 2016, adult tickets will be $30 per person.  Tickets are $10 for children ages 8 and under. Ticket presale is available online at www.gsSCENE.com, or at the door on the day of the event (while supplies last)
