MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – A film crew from Chinese Cable Television (CCTV) will be in the Myrtle Beach area beginning Aug. 3, 2014 to film a feature which will be broadcast throughout the nation of China.
This crew will experience a number of amenities, attractions and dining options along the Grand Strand during their visit.
The filming is part of a continuing effort to market the Myrtle Beach area to international visitors.
“China is the fastest-growing inbound nation for international travel into the U.S., which is why it is one of the regions we’ve strategically targeted in our international marketing efforts,” said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. “Our primary focus will always remain the building of domestic travel within the U.S., particularly during our shoulder season. In addition to that, we fully intend to position the Grand Strand as a fantastic international destination as well.”
