Myrtle Beach Boardwalk Tops Best Boardwalks List
Condé Nast Traveler recently compiled a list of the 9 Best Boardwalks in the U.S. and Myrtle Beach Boardwalk was at the top of the list.
According to Condé Nast Traveler, “Though it’s one of the newer boardwalks in the country, built in 2010, it has quickly become a staple on the eastern seaboard. The 1.2-mile walkway is filled with everything you’d find on the historic ones—shops, rides, jugglers, and restaurants—with a bit more of a modern edge. Think Art Burger Sushi Bar over Nathan’s hot dogs.”
“We’re not surprised the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk made the list,” said Brad Dean, CEO and President of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, “It’s a great place for family-friendly entertainment with a spectacular view of the ocean.”
Summer is a great time to experience the boardwalk too. The Oceanfront Boardwalk Merchants Association hosts “Hot Summer Nights” free family-friendly entertainment six nights a week.
