Enter the Dragon - The 10th Annual Dragon Boat Festival

Dragons and boats. In mythical fables, those unfortunate souls on the water never stood a chance against those in the sky. But in 2018, the combination of dragons and boats means it’s time once again for the 10th Annual Ground Zero Dragon Boat Festival, which returns to The Market Common in Myrtle Beach on April 28, 2018.
For those of you who might be asking yourself just what is dragon boating, we're here to tell you it's an absolute blast! The boats feature dragon designs, of course, and can seat 20 paddlers and one drummer in a competition to be the first to get across that finish line.
The unique designs of the boats means these races are visually amazing. Plus, it’s just a lot of fun.
More importantly, the festival raises money for Ground Zero, a non-profit organization committed to transforming the lives of teens through high-quality events and a cutting-edge venue that provides youngsters with quality entertainment in a safe environment.
So, come on out to Grand Park at The Market Common this Saturday and enjoy this unique festival. And if you're competing, make sure and do those push-ups!
