Barc Parcs

While in Myrtle Beach, the family friendly atmosphere of the area is extended to our furry family members at our two local dog parks.  Find plenty to do with your pets at our free "Barc Parc" playgrounds, complete with fenced-in areas for dogs to run, with separate areas for large and small dogs.  Maintained by the City of Myrtle Beach, the "Barc Park South" is located on Mallard Lake Drive at the Market Common (former Air Force Base), where you'll find over 11 acres of space just for dogs, including a dog fountain with a shower, training structures, benches, and much more! Situated in a fully fenced setting, it is the only area in the city limits of Myrtle Beach where there is "no leash law," and your dog can run free.  The second and newest "North Barc Park" has opened at 62nd Ave just west of U.S. 17 Bypass, beside the new YMCA.
