If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing bike ride, the 26-mile Waccmaw Neck Bikeway might be just the ticket.
“Bike the Neck” is what it’s been traditionally called, and this flat, paved trail parallels U.S. 17 from Murrells Inlet to Sandy Island Road near Huntington Beach State Park.
So, you’re guaranteed to have a great view. Also, the trail is easily marked with Share the Road signs, so you can bike it or walk it if you so choose.
It’s truly a path that offers something for everyone, whether it be families teaching their young ones how to ride a bicycle, or couples out for a romantic, scenic adventure.
So, come on. Display a little pedal power!
