After a day lounging Oceanside in North Myrtle Beach, tummies are likely to be craving some full, rich meals. And Z’s Amazing Kitchen delivers.

Not only does the restaurant serve up everything from soups and salads to sandwiches and wraps, it also boasts a great kids menu, including pork sliders and a fried rice bowl.

Today for Foodie Friday, Z’s brings you the makings of its blue cheese and balsamic steak salad: a massive bowl of deliciousness. Enjoy!

Blue Cheese and Balsamic Steak salad

Marinated skirt steak
Salt, pepper, to taste
Spring salad mix
Tomatoe, chopped
Cucumber, chopped
Red bell pepper, chopped
Slaw vegetables, chopped
2-3 T Chunky Blue Cheese dressing
Blue Cheese crumbles (as desired)
Balsamic glaze (garnish)
Seasoned wontons (as desired)

Season and grill steak to your desired temperature. Let it rest for 5-8 minutes before slicing.

While the steak is resting, combine the spring mix, tomatoes, cucumbers, red bell peppers and slaw vegetables into a large mixing bowl. Toss with 2-3 tablespoons of Chunky Bleu Cheese dressing until evenly coated. Add blue cheese crumbles, as desired. Slice steak into ¼ slices and place on top of salad. Garnish with Balsamic glaze and homemade crispy, seasoned Wontons.
