While the Kudzu Bakery and Market isn't necessarily new to the Grand Strand, (there are currently four locations, including the original location in Georgetown, S.C. and a location in Pawleys Island, S.C.) it's central Myrtle Beach location is new, and we couldn't be more excited.
The Kudzu Bakery and Market was founded in 1989 by Joey and Stacy Rabon, and its success since opening probably has a great deal to do with the bakery's slogan of ‘simply divine.' That's exactly what comes to mind every time we've enjoyed a slice of key lime or pecan pie from any of their locations.
Beyond sweets, the Myrtle Beach location of the Kudzu Bakery and Market also serves lunch items, mostly traditional Southern fare. We imagine you can't order wrong here, as all sandwiches are served on the bakery's homemade bread. For more information on the Kudzu Bakery and Market now located in Myrtle Beach, check out their website or catch up with them on Facebook.
