So, you might have heard about a little event taking place along the shores of the Myrtle Beach area this weekend called the Carolina Country Music Fest.

Well, there is also a celebration of that great American classic, the Corvette, happening as well.

That means we’re ready to enjoy a great summer weekend here along the Grand Strand.

The crowds and the music got started early on Thursday with the VisitMyrtleBeach.com Kick-Off Concert featuring Sam Hunt. And now, CCMF is in full effect down along Eighth Avenue North near the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.

These eager fans are set and ready to see A-list country acts like Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum, Eric Church and so many more play their biggest hits along the banks of the Atlantic Ocean.

The Carolina Country Music Fest runs now through Sunday, June 5 through June 7, 2015. And if you’ve waited until the last minute, there are tickets still available, including a limited number of single-day passes. It’s not too late to join the party!

But before you go to the festival on Saturday, June 6, make sure to swing by Broadway at the Beach for the 20th Annual Corvette Show, running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Hosted by the Myrtle Beach Corvette Club, this fun event features hundreds of those namesake automobiles that are sure to fill you with nostalgia, or cause you to consider a possible trade-in.

Best of all, the event is free!

Corvettes and country music. It’s a combination we love! And it means everyone is in for an early summer treat here in the Myrtle Beach area this weekend!
