Fall has always been a great time to visit the Myrtle Beach area. Undeniable affordability combined with its summer-like temperatures, warm ocean waters and more peaceful ambiance add to the season’s appeal. It’s the perfect time to take a last-minute summer beach getaway, but during September and October.
It’s also a great time to focus on your health. This Fall, we’ll put a spotlight on all the great ways you can relax, unwind and get moving throughout the area’s 60 miles of sun-soaked beaches. You can enjoy surfing, high ropes courses, cable wake boarding, inland kayaking, spa services, local and sustainable cuisine, and serene natural settings, to name just a few. Really the sky is the limit (you can even go parasailing).
To help you get started with your own wellness getaway this fall, we've created some special wellness activities and events, including meditation zones, beach yoga and guided bicycle tours.
Take a moment to quiet the mind, relax and enjoy the moment at one of these complimentary guided meditation zones available September and October during each locations' operation hours. Each zone will focus on one of the five senses - taste, smell, sound, touch and sight. As you visit these meditation zones, take a moment to breathe deeply and focus on the experience. Looking for a bit more guidance? Pop in your earbuds and listen to this 16 minute "Senses" Guided Meditation created by Dawn Yager, a local yoga and meditation expert.
