A love of horses means a trip out to Inlet Point Plantation Stables, where you’ll have a thrilling adventure taking in the sights of secluded beach and plantation settings.

This particular plantation was once the home of Fort Randall, which was used by the Confederate army during the Civil War. Billy the Kid also called the property home at one point.

But that’s not all. Indian burial grounds and other archaeological finds on the plantation date all the way back to 600 B.C.

Obviously, there is a lot of history on this plantation. And experiencing it atop a trusty steed is the best way to go.
