Our childlike wonder for dinosaurs will never go extinct.
From first reading about these long-ago creatures when we were youngsters to being thrilled by the blockbuster film “Jurassic World” this summer, there will always be something magical about the Triceratops, Pterodactyl and, of course, the Tyrannosaurus rex.
Now that magic is on display at the Children’s Museum of South Carolina with their new “Dino Dig” exhibit.
This fun, interactive activity lets children dig up dinosaur “fossils” and also learn more about some of the different species.
It’s just one of the many fantastic exhibits children can find when visiting the museum.
For parents looking for a fun and educational way to entertain the tykes when the weather is less than stellar, this makes for a great rainy day activity in the Myrtle Beach area.
