MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Fourth Annual Women's Leadership Conference and Celebration of Inspiring Women comes to the Myrtle Beach Convention Center Feb. 26 and Feb. 27, 2014.
Pre-conference workshops begin Feb. 26 at 1 p.m., followed by the formal conference on Feb. 27 that kicks off at 7:15 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast. The conference leads up to the celebration of inspiring women at 6:30 p.m. on Feb. 27.
Sponsored by the Women in Philanthropy and Leadership at Coastal Carolina University, the theme of this year's conference is "Lead the Change." Speakers include:
- Wendi Nix, the host of ESPN'S "NFL Live" and a Murrells Inlet native
- Michelle Cabruso-Cabrera, chief international correspondent for CNBC
- Paula Harper Bethea, executive director of the South Carolina Education Lottery
"The Women's Leadership Conference offers inspiration, resources and connections for women from all walks of life," said Beth Steadman, associate director of women's programs and initiatives at CCU. "The contacts and friendships I've made with speakers, attendees and exhibitors have greatly enriched my life both professionally and personally."
