MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The 42nd Annual South Atlantic Shrine Association Fall Festival will return to Myrtle Beach starting Sept. 16 and running through Sept. 19, 2015.

It will be a weekend of fun and festivities, while also spreading the group's mission of promoting the quality of care and quality of life of children served by the Shriners Hospital.

Events kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 16, with registration and hospitality at the Landmark Resort, located at 1501 S. Ocean Blvd., in Myrtle Beach.

The Grand Shriners Parade is Friday, Sept. 18, along Ocean Boulevard - from 12th Avenue South to 29th Avenue South - beginning at 6 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 19, a golf tournament will be held at Whispering Pines Golf Course, located at 900 Harrellson Blvd., in Myrtle Beach, starting at 7:30 a.m. All golfers planning to participate should make checks payable to SASA Golf Tournament and mail them to Davis Cooke, 240 Manor Circle, Myrtle Beach, SC 29588.

The festival culminates with country music star Aaron Tippin in concert at Field starting at 7 p.m. on Sept. 19.

The South Atlantic Shrine Association (SASA) is composed of 18 Shrine centers representing seven states in the southeast: South Carolina; North Carolina; Virginia; West Virginia; Kentucky; Tennessee; and Georgia. Each year, SASA converges on the Myrtle Beach area the third week in September to promote its philanthropy throughout the area and conduct annual business of the association.
