MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - The Myrtle Beach area proved to be a popular travel spot to search for. On Yahoo's list of the top 10 travel searches of 2013, Myrtle Beach ranked second.

"This ranking goes to show that the Myrtle Beach brand continues to grow in awareness and popularity for vacationers all across the country," said Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
