Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce/CVB Hosts Fall Marketing Update


MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau is hosting a tourism marketing update on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort at Grande Dunes. The address is 8400 Costa Verde Dr., in Myrtle Beach. This event is free and open to the public, but registration is requested.


Guest speaker Gary Oster, with U.S. Travel, will give a presentation about Project: Time Off. This initiative aims to shift culture so that using personal time off is not considered frivolous, but essential to strengthening families and improving personal health, a business investment with proven returns and an economic necessity.


Travel and tourism updates will be given by: Scott Schult, MBACC/CVB Executive Vice President of Marketing; Kim DaRoja, MBACC/CVB Director of Sales; Susan Scarce, with Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday; and Kirk Lovell, from the Myrtle Beach International Airport.
