MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Many events scheduled for this upcoming weekend are still set to take place in the Myrtle Beach area.

The Downtown Myrtle Beach Oktoberfest will be held Oct. 10 and Oct. 11 along the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.

Additionally, the 11th Annual Little River ShrimpFest will also proceed as scheduled, Oct. 10 and Oct. 11, along the Little River Waterfront.

Also, the Fifth Annual Bridge2Bridge Run in Georgetown on Oct. 10 will still take place.

Several events scheduled to take place this past weekend in the Myrtle Beach area were rescheduled and/or canceled due to the heavy rainfall.

Below is a list of these events and their new dates:
• Brookgreen Gardens' Fall Festival - Oct. 10 and Oct. 11
• Surfside Beach Family Festival at Surfside Drive - Oct. 17
• Eighth Annual Oktoberfest at The Market Common - Oct. 23 and Oct. 24
• 32nd Annual Taste of the Town at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center - Nov. 5
• California Roots: The Carolina Sessions at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk - Spring 2016 - Exact date to be determined

The Conway Fall Festival and the Live Oak Festival, both of which were scheduled for Oct. 3, were cancelled. No make-up date has been given.
