A Myrtle Beach Salute to the Military

Myrtle Beach Military Appreciation Days Join the troops for Myrtle Beach's Military Appreciation Days celebration May 28-30 in Grand Park, Valor Memorial Garden and The Market Common on the former Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. Active military from all branches of the service will compete in basketball, softball, golf and marksmanship tournaments (register by May 15). Retired personnel and the general public can participate in a 5K run and enjoy model airplane and boat demos, a climbing wall, simulators and parachute jumps, capped off with a formal Military Memorial Ceremony, concert and fireworks.

Make Your Own Waves

Myrtle Beach Water Sports Don't sit on the sidelines while others have all the fun. Dive into an aquatic adventure you can text home about! There are plenty of ways to get wet in Myrtle Beach. Go for the gusto with ocean kayaking, Jet-skiing, parasailing, scuba diving, windsurfing or a wind in your face banana boat ride. Or power down in a sailboat, dolphin-watching or sunset cruise. You might even be game for a day of saltwater fishing, either in placid inland waters or the deep-blue Gulf Stream. Carpe diem (seize the day) with Myrtle Beach Watersports!

Broadway at the Beach Happenings

Broadway at the Beach Something's always happening at Broadway at the Beach, and the fun intensifies in May with fireworks, street parties and classic rock concerts in hotter-than-ever Celebrity Square. Elsewhere in the 350-acre lakeside complex are scores of restaurants, shops (with awesome spring sales) and attractions, including award-winning Ripley's Aquarium (don't miss the new "Babies" exhibit), IMAX 3D Theatre, Pavilion Nostalgia Park, MagiQuest and much, much more. Learn about these BATB happenings and others and print out valuable coupons online.
